Is Costco Travel A Good Deal?

Stepping foot in a new place that’s nothing like the home you know is exciting. If you are from a place that doesn’t have snow or mountains, or animals then going to a country where they have the largest mountains in the world can be breathtaking.

The opposite is also true, maybe you grew up around mountains and would love to see a beach someday.

Whatever the case traveling is exciting, unfortunetly it can also be expensive.

Costco can help with that.

What Is Costco Travel?

When we think of Costco we think of bulk goods, organic food, cheap rotisserie chicken. Or at least that’s what I think of.

But did you know that Costco has so many more services than that? One of which is the Costco Travel.

Costco works directly with cruise lines, hotels, and rental car companies to give you the best price available.

Costco gives great options, and a great way to search for your next vacation. By inputting where you want to go, where you’re coming from, and what you want to do the Costco Travel site will give you the best options available to you.

Where Can You Go With Costco Travel?

Really almost anywhere.

Costco travel offers cruises and vacation packages in South America, Europe, Places in the USA and so much more.

If you were to look at the list of places it would be very difficult for you to not find a place you would want to visit.

With all the hot spots in Florida, Hawaii, Europe included you could spend the next few years just taking advantage of these trips and still never go to the same place twice.

Is Costco Travel The Best Way To Save Money On Travel?

With all the options out there for booking your vacation is Costco Travel the best and cheapest option?

Not always.

I was able to find a rental car through Costco travel $600 cheaper than anywhere else. I’ve also found cruises leaving Tampa for less than $200 meaning I can go on a vacation for 2 for $600 or less.

So yes Costco Travel can have some really great prices, however, you can sometimes find better prices elsewhere.

In addition, if you do any kind of travel hacking, using credit card points to travel for next to nothing, then that will be a better option for you.

Another thing I’ve noticed when it comes to renting a car is you have to book it long in advance or the price will go up too high. That same deal that saved me $600 a few weeks later and it was the most expensive by about $200 for the same exact dates and same exact time frame.

Bottom line is always check around, Costco travel can save you a ton of money and provide great ways to travel for cheap. However, if you look around sometimes it isn’t the best price.
